Channeling #4 - My Path - with Amelia

I came down with a bad cold last weekend and have been mostly in bed for several days now. Fortunately, I feel better today -- Thanksgiving Day. I have been listening to a lot of channeled messages lately, from Kryon (Lee Carrol), The Group (Steve Rother), and others (The Kevin Moore Show). As I lay sick in bed, I did a search on "how to channel" and I ended up taking a couple of channeling classes (one free on YouTube and one for a Black Friday price of $9.99 on Udemy.com).

On my second channeling attempt I had a long conversation inside my head with "Joshua". On my third attempt, Joshua spoke through my voice, but I did not record it, so I had to try to remember what he said.

Below is the transcripts from my 4th attempt at channeling. Note that my cold has been pretty bad throughout these attempts.

27 November 2019 - 6pm (lasted about ~20 minutes) with Amelia - My/All Paths

(I still have a bad cold, and I think this channeling made it worse. I did not ask any questions. Instead, Amelia just started talking about a minute or less after I did my altar routine. At certain parts, especially when she got excited, I started swaying as I attuned to her energy. I turned on my phone recorder as soon as I felt someone was going to come through, but the location next to me was bad, so I could not make some passages. I will fix this next time.)

(parentheses indicates text that I added that was not there originally, such as the paragraph above)
[brackets indicates my attempt to interpret audio that was unclear, sometimes I just state "unclear"]

"You still need to clear your mind so I can come through. My name is Amelia. I am a friend of Josh, I work with Josh. Sometimes (in the past) you thought that I was Amy, but actually, the being you thought was Amy is actually a whole series of female entities within your being who work your female side, which you have been many times in your parallel (past and future) personalities. We think that is probably somewhat evident to you, as you tap more into those feminine intuitions. At least they are considered feminine in your current reality, in the belief systems in your current reality, that places greater value on the scientific masculine, and less value on the intuitive feminine. But you already know that. What you are seeking is in fact the more feminine.

It (the feminine side) has always been there, and was one of the reasons for your life struggles in your teenage years, because you had that presence, and yet in those years, in those years where the samsara - mirage - of your waking dream reality, as you call it, is so strong, because your self is still developing and in [that time of] your [life] you are required [to learn about physical reality] - not necessarily required, but, you agreed to come into that [reality] easily and fully, completely. That is why most of you erase all memories of your lives that brought you to this life, what you call past lives, but they can also be future lives, that influenced the decision to be born into this particular existence. It is because you wanted to play the game so much, you wanted to get the most that you can out of this life. And that is true of every being on this planet. That's true for every entity on this planet. That is true for every animal and plant, every part of every animal and plant. That's true for every cell and every atom in this reality. It is was Seth calls "value fulfillment". [They] are seeking the highest value fulfillment, the highest experience that is possible in this waking reality. That is why you, and others like you, have this desire to awaken, to realize that, because that is one of the highest [levels] of consciousness in this reality.

As you know, there are many stages, many forms, of enlightenment, and while some are called higher and some lower  or more basic, really from the perspective of Source, your larger being, your Soul, there is no actual difference because they each offer a unique perspective, a different perspective, a different way of understanding reality, of understanding [unclear - a complex world] [unclear] in the [framework of a] time-space experience -- the experience of having different parts of you come forward in an apparently linear manner. Each of those experiences is of extreme value to yourself, to your soul, who [is what?] you are in this existence. Each of those experiences must be cherished and embraced, integrated into who you are in this reality, in this time-space reality.

Of course, you know that time and space are illusions. They are something that you created that you [use] in this physical waking dream reality, [they are something] which you have agreed to experience, have agreed to the rules of time and space, [that is part of being in a reality] with these rules of the game. But as long as you are here, you want to obey those rules. You [want or need?] to use those rules to come back to Source, and to integrate your inner self, your bigger inner self, with who you really are, to integrate that with this waking dream reality. That is the goal, that is the ultimate reason for being.

You have read that Source, All That Is, had no other, could not know itself because there was nothing else to know. It then had the first inkling, the first thought, "I Am". The only way that could have happened is for it (Source) to split, into a duality. The first duality, which your scientists call the Big Bang, but it really wasn't a big bang, it was very subtle. From that first duality came a second, and a third and a fourth and a fifth, until the universe as you know was created. All is a fragment, holograph, fractal, a [reflection] of All That Is. And all of us, even those of us who are guides, your guides, even those of us who are higher or more integrated than the guides who you are talking to the most in this channel, all of them, all the way back to Source itself, have one goal: to re-integrate, to bring the pieces back. That is the aim.

Fragmentation and integration, fragmentation and integration. Fragmentation to experience diversity - to experience the wonders of this physical dream reality that you live in (referring to the third dimension). It is so different, than almost any other reality, almost than any other dimension. Granted there are many different realities in your dimension, so we should be [calling these] dimensions. This dimension is so different from the first, second, fourth, fifth, and other dimensions. It is the dimension where fragmentation reaches its climax - the ultimate (of that type of ) experience. It is that dimension where the diverse wonders of creation, wonders of all the things, all the [people], the amazing diverse options [appear] in so many different ways.

[There are easier ways to re-integrate.] You could die (for example, and then) go to the fourth dimension and re-integrate in that way. [As you go to higher dimensions, you move closer to re-integrate with source, and it may be easier.] In the 11th dimension, the last one, the fragmentation completely disappears as 'All That Is' is a oneness. So you could do that. [unclear - There was something about how different channels talk about 11, 12 and 13 dimensions, but Amelia said those differences are unimportant because it is all a continuum that can be divided in many ways.] [unclear] and achieve enlightenment. [unclear] However, to experience integration in the third dimension is a wonder that beings throughout the fragmented realities of All That Is find fascinating -- how humans, and not just humans but other beings, animals, plants, rocks -- how entities are [in their own ways] able to reach very high levels of integration that are very similar in fact to the fourth dimension, but in the third dimension right here. [Many], well its not real big, but a number of human beings on this planet have already entered into the fourth dimension, while maintaining their grounded physical bodies and consciousness in the third dimension. This is when you start experiencing bliss, levels of bliss consciousness.

Maharishi talks about levels of bliss (or cosmic) consciousness, god consciousness, unity consciousness. That is why those are the ultimate goals that one can seek out. (However), there is nothing that says you have to seek these. There are many other ways to integrate. Integration can be very small, by simply forgiving someone. [unclear - integrating something that you have been pushing away, perhaps?] It may seem like a small integration, but it could have major impacts on other parallel selves [in different realities]. So there are no small integrations. There are just different [experiences] by different people.

Small integrations, big integrations, people are driven by different goals for themselves. Part of that is karmic, with different goals. You were told (by a jyotish/vedic astrologer) that this is (likely to be) your last incarnation, your last physical presence in waking dream reality, because you had experienced many others (incarnations). When looked at from a timeline (perspective), you have experienced many incarnation in the past in which you had a spiritual path and in which you mastered many skills that come together at this time. Or you can think of this as a non-time [incarnation] in which all these paths exist at this (one point in) time. [unclear - in fact all of your parallel and different dimensional personalities] are doing this together, in their own realities, in our own dimensions. We are all experiencing this rush [to awakening/integration]. [unclear - We each contribute to the expansion of each other and to the expansion of our higher/inner/soul self.] When it seem like synchronicities are occurring [they are actually incidents] that are created by other parallel selves in other dimensions, or in this dimension in other time and space realities.

[That is how it works. That is how this works.] That is your path.

I think that is enough. Hopefully the recording worked. We appreciate [this connection]. We love you. {I love you.}

(Comment 1: As interesting as this was, I feel like I already know all this. There is nothing really "new" in what was said. As such, I felt like I was simply talking to myself -- which is probably because my goal was to channel my inner self. I have heard that channeling can start out this way for some people, and only after some time do they start channeling higher dimensional beings who have information beyond themselves. I guess time will tell.
Comment 2: Channeling feels a lot like being in a lucid dream, to me. Except that I personally, and with limited experience, find it easier to do than lucid dreaming, which is more hit and miss when I intentionally try to do it.)

A Lucid Dream to Mars -- thanks to Jet-Lag

Monday, Sept 2nd at 1:31am - I had returned from a 10 day trip to China the previous Thursday night and was still feeling jet-lag. I woke up at 11pm and recorded a dream and then went back to sleep. I was kind of awake so I tried to re-enter that dream I had recorded, which was in the city I was at in China.

I went back to the street I was staying on and there I meet Josh, one of my inner guides. I  ask him where Emily was, who is my other guide. She appeared and said she was now Alita, after the robot girl in the movie I saw on the plane: Alita Battle Angel (I saw it 3 times on other people's screens while I was working on my computer).

I asked them how I am doing which they thought was a silly question because they said that I knew the answer. They especially were pleased that I chose to return a call to my yoga studio about my playing my gongs for a restorative yoga class. This was a good move, they said.

I decided not to ask about ailments this time but to follow my "Moon + Mars" lucid dream plan instead. I went to the Moon and saw many people there and offered to help one of them. She asked me where she was and I explained that she had died and how the Moon is a popular choice for many newly deceased and that she was now in a dream-like state where whatever she wished for would instantly appear. She wished for some fast-food and drinks and got more than she needed then wished them away. I told her to practice that and that someone else will soon come to help her to the next stage.

I then went to Mars where I was introduced to the multidimensional nature of that planet. We know the red planet as an empty 3rd dimensional reality. But it is mostly used by the inhabitants from other dimensions as a vacation destination. The 'tourists' I met mostly live in the 4th dimensions in which there are several Mars of different colors and color combinations, which I was shown. They mostly work on developing themselves on creating realities so they can advance into the 5th and 6th dimensions. However they are having a good time in 4th dimension so that development is slow. They also told me that Mars and Earth occupy the same 'space' in the 4th and higher dimensions, so it is very easy to change one's vibration to come to Mars and to visit its different forms. I briefly tried this with some success.

Because the people/beings I met are mostly based in the 4th dimension, they can materialize their thoughts and suggest that I try this. At first I think of sex but quickly decide that love, self love, is what I really wanted, so I fill my being with the vibration of love. I thanked my Mars hosts (who might be Josh and Alita now) as I decide to wake up and record all this before it becomes too much to remember. Through this lucid dream I was partially aware of my sleeping body and bedroom, which is why I call it lucid imagining.

(I found this in my "drafts" on Thanksgiving Day, which is why it is being posted long after I had had the dream and written it up.)

Waking and Dreaming as Simultaneous Realities

26 August 2019 - Haikou, Hainan, China

Earlier today, I had lunch with an email friend from Hainan University. After lunch she took me on the back of her electric motorbike to a shopping mall across the river from where I am staying because she (and I) wanted to go to the grocery store there. She also kind of pointed toward the location of "night market" near Hainan University. Later, I decided to walk to the night market for dinner. Crossing the big road and then the river was quite an adventure because the throng of motorbikes at this time of day share the same pathway that pedestrians use.

Being a pedestrian in the midst of these electric motorbike commuters was my first deja vu experience.
While walking, I had some deja vu feelings -- like I have been in this scene (or scenes) before in a dream(s). I thought that was interesting, but I did not think much more about it than that. My friend's directions were not very clear on how to get to the night market from the mall, but I kept looking for interesting activity and I soon found myself at the Haida (Hainan University) Night Market, which was a pretty amazing place with food on one side of a long pedestrian street and a variety of toys, cell phones, other products, and fruit, on the other side. I got a vegetarian wrinkled cheung fun (flat rice noodle) dish with cabbage and egg. Two guys next to me gave me two of their oysters, as well, and I exchanged WeChat contacts with them. I also ate some jack fruit and watermelon for desert. I then walked back.

Haida (Hainan University) Night Market
At some point, I think while walking back through the market, but I cannot really identify it exactly when it was, I found myself in both this waking reality place and in a dream reality of the same place at the same time. The waking reality was the night market as I walked and took photos and bought a bubble milk tea for 7 yuan (98c US). However, I was also acting out a sleeping dream reality version that was similar, but with different challenges -- more game like choices. As I walked further along, I moved more completely in waking reality, but I had the memory of both the previous waking reality place and the dream reality activities. I was trying to clearly remember what I had done in the dream reality part, exactly as I do when trying to remember a dream when I wake up in the middle of the night. While I do not now remember all the details, I do recall the sense that I had some choices and the ones I picked panned or spread out very well - like on some kind of curved, dark-stained, wooden track.

I felt a bit disoriented by this odd memory recall, grasping for it while also wondering how something like this could happen while I am walking and not in bed. Despite this, I found my way back to my hotel quite easily with a little help from Google Maps. I do not recall ever experiencing this before and have not (yet) heard anyone talk about this type of experience. I know (from Seth/Jane Roberts) that sleeping dream reality is actually constantly taking place and forming the basis for our waking reality experiences, and that the line between then is actually very thin. Something about tonight's experience got me right on the line, I think, and it was extremely interesting.  (Also kind of interesting is that this came the day after I had my first lucid dreams in quite awhile.)

"Please be civilized"

UPDATE: 16 November 2019

I am reading The Early Session Book 2 of the Seth Material, in which Seth comments on how deja vu is the experience of two versions of myself existing and experiencing two different realities. So when I have a deja vu experience, it is because another version of myself is actually having that experience as a full reality experience. I am getting a glimpse of the experience of that other reality self, which in our time-base third dimension, we usually call past reincarnations (although they could just as easily be future reincarnations).

That is an interesting perspective to ponder on, I think.

Another channeled being, I think named Laarkmaa, says that we each have 12 selves, spread in 12 different dimensions at the same time, and, like Seth says, all of our selves influence each other based on what we learn and experience. Seth also says that we can tap into the skills and knowledge of our other dimensional selves and bring those skills and knowledge into our present dimension.

Gong, Yoga and Lucid Experiences

From my dream journal...

Dream 1 - Entering alternate realities in yesterday's Gong Restorative Yoga Class.

While not a nighttime dream, this was a form of lucid daydreaming (like a Wake Induced Lucid Dream - WILD), so I am writing it up is as a dream here. Toward the end of the restorative yoga with gong class last Friday, I actively sought to enter into alternative realities, which I had felt the gong vibrations were facilitating from throughout the class. After moving through some pastel cloud-like landscapes, I entered a very dark blue space without any distinct features, but with glowing white light celestial beings floating about. I asked to meet my inner/higher self and I met a man  with a round face and full and mostly brown beard who smiled at me. I wondered why it had to be a man, and it shifted into a woman, but did not hold that shape for very long, as he/she became more indistinct in form. Communication was by telepathy, and I felt that I understood the intentions of the celestial beings in that way, although I could not formulate what I was feeling into words. I asked my inner self  (if that is who it was) why I am having a certain health  issue lately, what was the message that this ailment is intended to teach me? I could not, however, sense a response to that question. I think maybe because I was operating on too gross of a level -- not subtle enough.

I recorded five nighttime dreams this night. I could have recorded more, as this was a very active night, possibly due to the restorative gong class. One of the dreams seemed to be an answer to my health question, which dissipated considerably in the following days. The only one that I am including here is the following, because it, too, was related to my yoga studio.

Dream 5 - 4:40am - An early morning Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) dream.

I had woken up and then tried to remain awake as I re-entered the dream I had just had, which was in Singapore. It was working at first, but after a very short time my mind became scrambled (felt like scrambled eggs or television static) and I could not return to any lucidity at all. So I woke up again and decided to meditate lying in bed, instead. Meditation brought about a more clear hypnogogic lucidity. I was at my yoga studio and Abby was leading a yoga class - probably restorative. She had us flying around the room, but told us to move very slowly so we would not bump into each other, which was happening. She then had us lie down and expand our minds to fill the room, and then to merge minds into a single group consciousness. I think we did one other thing, but I could not recall what it was after I fully woke up again. This was fun, and clearly tied to yesterday's restorative gong yoga class. Maybe I should get myself a gong?

Lucid Dream Work

13 Dec 2018 - I took a dream class through the Seth Institute last April and have been recording and interpreting my dreams on and off since then and experimenting with various types of dream work. I have recorded up to seven or eight dreams in one nights, though when I am on a roll nowadays, I try to limit my dream recording to the one dream each night that I *think* might be the most significant (something that in reality is not possible to do because I find that the simplest of dreams can lead to profound interpretations).

However, I also find that when I travel or when I am burdened with my day-to-day waking work, that I often will not record any dreams at all because I am too tired to either remember them or to wake up to write them down. I don't worry about this, because eventually I will get a dream that knocks at my sleeping mind's door loud enough to get me to record it on the tablet that I always keep by the side of my bed.

I really enjoyed the April class and more recently I listened to a series of interviews from the DreamWork Summit, which were initially free, but now cost money to access. That peaked my interest in lucid dreaming, which was covered toward the end of the class that I took, and which has occasionally worked for me (see my 30 July 2017 post for an example). I downloaded a few Kindle book samples on lucid dreaming, and I ended up buying one of them, partly because it was only $0.99 cents.

The book is: "How to Master Lucid Dreaming: Your practical guide to unleashing the power of lucid dreaming" by Sean Kelly. The first assignment in that book is to write you goals for the next two weeks and to *share them* somehow. See here are my goals (mostly copied from the book) shared with the world here on my blog...
  1. Remember 1+ dream per night on average over the next 2 weeks
  2. Write down my dreams every morning upon waking
  3. Update this blog with my progress (below)
  4. Get 6+ hours of sleep every night for the next 2 week
  5. Post these goals, and maybe some version of my dreams on my blog
  6. Select a new Reality Check item each day and Do Reality Checks throughout the days when encountering the item or anything else that seems odd
So there it is. I have now done my first homework assignment! - and have updated it as the days go by...

Dream Progress

I have already been recording dreams since April -- close to about 200 of them so far. So recording and interpreting my dreams is not knew. How I am doing it with the new method is new, however. The main difference is that what I record now is very short with limited interpretation. But because of that, I am writing down more of them each night.

Here are the number of dreams that I have recorded so far:
12/13 - 3 dreams
12/14 - 4 dreams - I was flying around the world with my granddaughter in the first one

Starting 12/15 I am to pick a Daily Reality Check (DRC) item, which I will do a Reality Check each time I encounter the item selected. In addition, I am to do Reality Checks whenever something strange occurs and at other random intervals that I set. So the following dreams show what my DRC is, as well.

12/15 - 3 dreams - the last one was food related and so I made "food" my DRC item - I did a terrible job at remembering this one, however
12/16 - 3 dreams - the last one was about driving, so I made driving my car my DRC item
12/17 - 2 dreams - last one was a of ball of lights, mostly white with a few colors, unrelated I made looking out a window my DRC item, and the first thing I saw out a window was Venus glowing through a skylight this morning
12/18 - 2 dreams - both were related to projects I am working on these days are work. My DRC item is opening my thermos to either add to or drink what is in it today.
12/19 - 3 dreams - all different, but also each was very clear. Repeating the DRC item from yesterday.
12/20 - 4 dreams - busy night - two with very long entries - one with a long interpretation - one very lucid. DRC item for today is my cell phone - I will do a DRC each time I open and look at my phone
12/21 - 2 dreams - neither was long - my DRC item for today is Passing through a building entrance doorway
12/22 - 5 dreams (very busy) - a couple quite long, one fairly lucid, though with a lot of distractions - will try the same DRC again, as I did not remember to do it well yesterday
12/23 - 1 dream only recalled last night - new DRC is when I pick up something to drink
12/24 - 0 dreams recalled last night, and that is OK - new DRC is each time I sit/stand at my desktop computer today
12/25 - 2 dreams, both about Christmas - new DRC is when I see a decorated Christmas tree
12/26 - 3 dreams, no new DRC
12/27 - 3 dreams, all three were dreams about dreaming - new, and permanent DRC is whenever something occurs that is strange or out of the ordinary
12/28 - 3 dreams, all related to my work place, and two of which were very detailed - continuing same DRC as the day before
12/29 - 8 dreams, varying degrees of lucidity and detail.

After 16 days I am finished with my Lucid Dream Work book assignment. This is my last update of this blog post. For $0.99 cents, the  "How to Master Lucid Dreaming" book by Sean Kelly was worthwhile. I was never able to get a good grasp of the Daily Reality Check items that I selected, and I gave up in the end. I found that the Wake Back To Sleep technique (not discussed in the Kelly book) works better for me, personally. (I should note that the reason the Kelly book is 99 cents is because, while giving quite a bit of useful information, it is also very short and is essentially an advertisement for his online lucid dreaming classes.)

Recently, like this past week, I was introduced to Jurgen Ziewe through the Buddha at the Gas Pump interview podcast (https://batgap.com/jurgen-ziewe/). Since that Batgap interview, I have listed to about a half dozen videos of Jurgen discussing his Out of Body Experience (OBE) that he has recorded for over 40 years. He has written three books based on his records. For me, at this point in time, he is the most insightful person on the topic of dreaming. The reason I had 8 dreams last night was because I was using meditation more to bring about dream recall and lucidity. This is what Jurgen does -- he sees lucid dreaming as a by product of meditation, which I can identify with, given my own long history of meditation practice. So, I strongly suggest checking out Jurgen Ziewe, if this is something you are interested in (for example, see his three part video series on OBEs: https://vimeo.com/19830435

Every situation is God Sent

Every situation is God Sent.
With this supreme wisdom of life any situation can be used to our advantage and regarded as a blessing of Mother Nature.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Quotes

There is no good or bad, no sacred or evil, at the level of absolute being and pure consciousness in the moment point of here and now. Good and bad only come into existence when we assign those meanings, based on our beliefs, to phenomena as they become experienced in the state of relative, corporeal reality. This teaching cuts across Buddhism, Taoism, Jane Roberts/Seth and Vedic literature. If anything, all phenomena and experiences are fundamentally good, true and sacred in their source.

And yet, it seems that this is the hardest truth to understand and communicate to those who seem to only know a corporeal/physical reality formed by mass beliefs that are reinforced through all forms of officially accepted institutions and media. Ram Dass has a photo of Donald Trump on his alter, next to a statue of Hanuman and photos of his guru, Maharajji, to demonstrate and try and teach this idea to others. While I am not willing to go that far, I do find that President Trump offers an opportunity for deep reflection on the nature of reality, even though the few people I have mentioned this to tend think I am crazy.

More difficult still, is understanding how pain, suffering and death also have origins that are beyond goodness and badness, and which can be a "blessing of Mother Nature."  Buddhist stories talk of enlightened monks who have reaches such a state of consciousness, and the other traditions listed above also seek to guide their students toward that state of being. I felt that the simple quote from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is one of the better reminders of this deep truth, which is so easy to forget.

One of my favorite quotes from Seth (Jane Roberts) that is related to this is: "Creativity often parades under the guise of disruption." This, of course, also contains the idea that every situation that we are presented with is a blessing, if we approach it with the right attitude. Maharishi says that as long we keep the goal in sight (for him the goal is enlightenment), then even when we seem to be facing obstacles or going in the opposite direction, we should understand these as temporary deviations, and we will succeed.

Another related, but longer, Seth (Jane Roberts) quote is: "There is nothing in your exterior experience that you did not originate within yourself. Interactions with others do occur, yet none occur what you do not attract or draw to you by your thoughts, feelings, attitudes or emotions. In your terms this applies both before, during and after physical life. In a most miraculous fashion you are given the gift of creating your own experiences."

This quote represents a fundamental teaching of Seth that is only a little different from Maharishi -- for Seth we are all expressions or appendages of "all that is" (what Maharishi calls "god"), and he has even said that we are "gods in training". For Seth, every situation is created by our inner self (or inner ego) which expresses the beliefs of our outer ego (or conscious self). In this way, every situation is an opportunity to understand our selves (our beliefs). In doing this, we can then change our beliefs and the situations (realities) that we encounter (or create). Our inner and outer egos, our conscious and subconscious selves, our past, present and future selves, are all, in total, our god in a state of becoming. When our outer ego (one small, but important part of this totality) realizes or experiences this, then all situations are a blessing of existence.

Note: From what I have been told, Maharishi talked about "god" more in the early years when he originally formed the Spiritual Regeneration Movement (SRM) in the late 1950s. As he spent more time in the west, however, he talked less about god and more about "science". The quote above is the only one in the book of quotes that it comes from that has the word "god" in it.

Conscious Dreaming

My First Dream Manipulation

So probably I am more "eclectic" than I am Buddhist...

Background

I read a few pages of Jane Robert's Seth material, from various sources, every night before going to sleep. Recently, I was reading comments by Seth about dreams, and how we can be (and are, without knowing it) as awake in our dreams as we are in our daily life, with one difference (among many) being that our desires are more instantaneous in our dream life. According to Seth, if we can consciously master this in our dream life, we can bring this skill into our waking life (at least that is what I think he is saying.) One of his suggestions was to ask or comment about being in a dream to people as we meet them in our dreams, and see how they respond.

We are all in a dream!

Early morning, Sunday, July 30th

I woke up about 1:00 am feeling quite fidgety and a little bit hungry, after having had a very light dinner (more like dessert) after a very aerobic Ashtanga Yoga class. I doubled my pillow height and tried meditating myself back to sleep using various mantras that I adopted for this over the years. At one point I felt half awake and half asleep -- I was actually thinking that I was still awake. But then I found myself eating a granola bar, and being accused by about four or five young Hispanic boys of taking their granola bar from the airport security belt -- which I was sure I had not done.

At that point, I said, "Hey, we are all in a dream!"  The boys all said "no we aren't", but a tall man who was behind them (either their teacher or other chaperone) laughed and said "yes we are." Then I thought, well in that case I can produce a new granola bar for the boys, and at the instant a granola bar came out of the scanner on the belt and the boys all cheered. I then thought, I should get enough bars so they can each have their own, and then a small pile of granola bars came out. They were happy, and so was I . I woke up shortly after that.

While this might not be my first conscious manipulation of reality while dreaming, it is the first that I remember so vividly ... enough to right it down, at least.
